Board of Directors

Our board represents a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The Board works hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need.

  • Kevin Apperson – President
    Kevin Apperson – President

    Kevin Apperson is CIO of Maxim Healthcare Services. Kevin is President of the Board of Directors for SFNC and is active in our Reservoir Hill local community. He is also a board member of the D.C. CIO Executive Board, Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (GBCA) & UMD Department of Humanities.

  • Dr. Tammira Lucas - Vice President
    Dr. Tammira Lucas - Vice President

    Tammira is the Executive Director of The Warnock Foundation. Dr. Lucas is also an assistant professor at Harford Community College. She has dedicated her life and work on building communities through leadership, innovation, education and entrepreneurship. She currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for SFNC.

  • Kevin Adams - Secretary
    Kevin Adams - Secretary

    Kevin studied at the University of Maryland, College Park where he coordinated a number of nonprofit fundraising and community outreach initiatives. After earning a B.S. in Accounting, he started his career in public accounting for PricewaterhouseCoopers and currently serves as a Tax Accounting Supervisor for Brown Advisory where he manages the tax compliance process.

  • Sierra Bunton
    Sierra Bunton

    Sierra Bunton is a Regional Finance Manager for Stride, Inc. providing fiscal management for several online schools. She has public accounting experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers and she served for several years as a Budget Analyst for the Maryland General Assembly.

  • Senator Barbara Robinson
    Senator Barbara Robinson

    Barbara was elected to the House of Delegates in 2006. After spending 10 years as a State Delegate, she was appointed by the Governor to a seat in the MD State Senate where she served for 2 years. Barbara is affiliated with more than 50 organizations!

  • Fred Hiser
    Fred Hiser

    Fred came to Baltimore in 1982 after receiving his Master’s Degree in Architecture. Fred is employed by Whitman Requardt & Associates as a Vice President. He has been on the St. Francis Neighborhood Center Board for nine years and co-chairs the Facilities Committee of the Board.

  • Helen Hiser
    Helen Hiser

    Helen Hiser has been president of Hiser + Kopits Hiser Architects for over twenty-five years. She co-chairs the Facilities Committee of the Board.

  • Inge'Marie Harris
    Inge'Marie Harris

    Inge’Marie is a parent of four kids in the Center programs and has been active with SFNC for over ten years. She states that the Center helped her achieve most of her goals due to our support. She is a Program Specialist for Transitional Care and Coordinated Care Center at University of Maryland Medical Center.

    Jerrell Bratcher

    Jerrell works in the Principal Gifts Fundraising at Johns Hopkins University and is also the Director of Marketing and Outreach at Central Church of Christ. He has over 15 years experience in fundraising, development, civic & community engagement, advancing the mission of nonprofit organizations.

  • John Enoch
    John Enoch

    John Enoch is the VP of Sales for ACC Telecom in Columbia, MD. He has been a proud member of the SFNC Board for over two years but has deep roots with St. Francis Neighborhood Center going back to his teenage years.

  • Susan Frazier
    Susan Frazier

    Susan is the Life Income Gift Manager for Johns Hopkins University & Medicine. She is active in her church and has served on other non-profit boards and worked on many committees for development, fundraising and event planning.

  • Patrice Lee
    Patrice Lee

    As the Global Education Sales Strategist for Dassault Systemes, Patrice understands the importance of education and learning opportunities. In addition to this role, Patrice is a small business owner as well as an active volunteer, fundraiser, and leader in the Baltimore community. Her background and experience align closely with SFNC's mission, making her an excellent addition to this board.

  • Ron Howard
    Ron Howard

    Ron has lived in Baltimore City since 1995, is a long-time business owner and has served non-profit boards in numerous capacities. He understands a board's role and embraces the importance of effecting positive change in pursuit of the mission. He brings the skill of being radically open-minded when trying to find organizational blindspots to facilitate a higher level of organizational performance.

  • Marvin Ingram
    Marvin Ingram

    Marvin Ingram has developed considerable expertise during his 25+ year career in public and private sector telecommunications. His primary focus has been engineering, strategic planning, business development and government relations. Mr. Ingram joined the board at St. Francis to support the center's growth, goals, and key initiatives including ending generational poverty through education, inspiring self-esteem, self-improvement, and strengthening connections in our Baltimore community.

  • Judith Schagrin
    Judith Schagrin

    Judith is a licensed certified clinical social worker who found her professional passion in public child welfare, retiring from Baltimore County Department of Social Services as the director for the foster care and adoptions program. Judith now works part-time for Baltimore City Department of Social Services as a public policy analyst and teaches at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She has worshipped for 30 years at Beth Am Synagogue in Reservoir Hill.
