Sip & Sustain Social Hour + Mixology Class

Join us for a relaxed evening of refreshments, light bites, conversation, and community – plus, an exclusive mixology class led by Ezra Allen, co-founder of CAnE Collective! Our Sip & Sustain Social Hour will be a chance to mix and mingle, learn about the programs and resources we offer in Reservoir Hill, and get to know others who care deeply about West Baltimore.

Proceeds from this event will support St. Francis Neighborhood Center. We are a secular 501(c)3 nonprofit organization located in Reservoir Hill, founded in 1963. Our mission is to dismantle inequity by cultivating community connections through tailored education and social interventions for West Baltimore.

Our free K-12 out-of-school programs are designed to support the long-term growth of students academically, socially, and emotionally. We’re playing the long game: investing in our youth today so they can thrive tomorrow. But long-term results require long-term investment. By joining us October 15th, you're helping us sustain the programs, mentorship, and opportunities our community relies on every day.

We’ll also be raffling off an opportunity to take Ezra Allen of CAnE Collective’s bartending services home for your next gathering! We hope to see you there!

Jackpot: The Canton Mead Clash

Local Honey. 2 Master Meadmakers. 1 Winner!
 
Honeypot and HappyJack, two Canton establishments, received 3lbs of honey from St. Francis Neighborhood Center's urban apiary in West Baltimore to make mead with. Now they're facing off, and we get to be the judge!
 
Start at Honeypot Cocktail Lounge (800 S Kenwood Ave), where you'll purchase a tasting ticket ($5) and sample each batch of mead, enjoy drink specials, and more. Then head on over to HappyJack (2822 Hudson St) to cast your vote for the best mead, and indulge some great food!
 
Proceeds support SFNC's mission to dismantle inequity by cultivating community through tailored education and social interventions for West Baltimore. For an additional donation of $20, you can cover the cost of one day of FREE high-quality enrichment programming for a K-8th grade student at SFNC! We support students' academic, social-emotional, and personal growth through our holistic programs and work with families to ensure they have what they need to help champion their child's success.
