Local Honey. 2 Master Meadmakers. 1 Winner!

 

Honeypot and HappyJack, two Canton establishments, received 3lbs of honey from St. Francis Neighborhood Center's urban apiary in West Baltimore to make mead with. Now they're facing off, and we get to be the judge!

 

Start at Honeypot Cocktail Lounge (800 S Kenwood Ave), where you'll purchase a tasting ticket ($5) and sample each batch of mead, enjoy drink specials, and more. Then head on over to HappyJack (2822 Hudson St) to cast your vote for the best mead, and indulge some great food!

 

Proceeds support SFNC's mission to dismantle inequity by cultivating community through tailored education and social interventions for West Baltimore. For an additional donation of $20, you can cover the cost of one day of FREE high-quality enrichment programming for a K-8th grade student at SFNC! We support students' academic, social-emotional, and personal growth through our holistic programs and work with families to ensure they have what they need to help champion their child's success.
